WELCOME!!!
Sarai's Baby Boutique is your home for handmade baby and children's crafts. Below you'll find crafts ideal for baby shower and new baby gifts, or for your own little one. Most items may be made just for you with personalization or with a design thought of by you to match the baby's bedroom decor.
I have moved all of my items to Etsy, a marketplace for crafters. http://saraisbabies.etsy.com
You may still visit my guestbook, The Country Loft, and links to other crafters by using the directory at the top of this page.

My husband, Don, and my seven-year-old step-daughter, Brianna, began addressing me by this nickname, Sarai after my husband read a section from Genesis about Abraham and Sarah. Prior to God's presenting of the promise, their names were actually Abram and Sarai but they were changed as a symbol of God's covenant with Abraham. Brianna picked up on the nickname and it has stuck ever since.
My real name is Sarah Bernstein and I decided to try selling baby crafts when I was about 38 weeks pregnant with my second son, who by the way is only 13 months younger than his big brother. After 9 months of pregnancy while raising another baby, working a stressful job and completing my bachelor's degree in an adult studies program, I desperately wanted and am still aiming for an opportunity that will allow me to work from home, with my kids. I was planning to make hand-made birth announcements for the new baby when I thought of the idea to create some marketable, personalized baby products including the announcements. With each new idea I've had my own babies in mind and have used them for my prototypes. I'm now on my maternity leave until the end of May (2007), and hope to have a strong start with the business before returning to my full-time job.
